The Beatles - Rubber Soul LP - Capitol 1995 - Sealed
Rubber Soul is the sixth studio album by the English rock band The Beatles. It was released on 3 December 1965 in the UK on EMI's Parlophone label, accompanied by the non-album double A-side single "Day Tripper" / "We Can Work It Out". The original Noth American version of the album, issued by Capitol Records. Often referred to as a folk-rock album, particularly in its Capitol configuration, Rubber Soul incorporates a mix of pop, soul, and folk musical styles. The title derives from the colloquialism "plastic souls" and was the Beatles' way of acknowledging their lack of authenticity compared to the African- American soul artists they admired.
This item is part of Capitol's Limited Edition re-issue service of the UK catalog, issued late 1995, using the same catalog #s as the late 80s vinyl pressings and the CDs that were still on the market at the time, but addition "C1". They are mastered from the same digital source tapes as the CDs.
This album is in very good condition and is still in the factory shrink wrap.
