"And you, music lover"
I always have loved the sound of vinyl. Even after digital "cleaned up" the impurities of the recordings, vinyl still has a more real sound to me. I remember clearly in the late 60's and 70's how I would save and save for the latest cartridge for my direct drive turntable.
It was hard to imagine that the cartridge could cost as much as the turntable itself! At $2.70 an hour at work, I may have put too much emphasis on the quality of my music! Anyway, all my vinyl was handled with care, cleaned before and after play and are like new.
It's simply time to pass these classics onto the next generation of vinyl lovers at a reasonable cost. My name is Chris Hearne and hope you will love these as much as I have. With that all said, I will offer you this challenge: try to name your favorite A&B sides of your favorite artists. Example, if you say to me, "Tom Petty" I would say A side, "Running down a dream" B side, "Free Falling" one more, Eagles, A side, "Peaceful easy feeling" B side, how about, " Last Resort."
Not as easy as you might think. Enjoy!
