The Cult intentionally stays out of the mainstream but has a huge "Cult" following. They have a very loyal group of followers who fill large stadiums wherever they go. In spite of their avoidance of mainstream, they have had a number of songs that have charted in the top 100 internationally. "Love" charted at #4 in the UK. After several breakups and reunions, they again continue to play on and record new music.
