George Harrison LP Trio - SEALED - PLUS A BONUS

Sold out
$30.00

George Harrison is the eighth studio album by English musician George Harrison, released in February 1979. It was written and recorded through much of 1978, a period of domestic contentment for Harrison, during which he married Olivia Trinidad Arias and became a father for the first time, to son Dhani. Harrison wrote several of the songs in Hawaii, while the track "Faster" reflected his year away from music-making.  Harrison co-produced this solo album with Russ Titelman, while the contributing musicians include Steve Winwood, Neil Larsen, Willie Weeks and Andy Newmark, with Eric Clapton and Gary Wright making guest appearances. The recording sessions took place at Harrison's FPSHOT studio in Oxfordshire.  The LP was issued by Harrison's Dark Horse Records.  This copy is factory sealed and in very good condition other than a notch.

Somewhere in England is the ninth studio album by Harrison, released in June 1981 by Dark Horse Records. The album was recorded as Harrison was becoming increasingly frustrated with the music industry. The album's making was a long one, during which conflicts with Warner Bros. Records arose. Somewhere in England was the first Harrison album to be released after the murder of his former Beatle bandmate John Lennon; the lyrics of its first single, "All Those Years Ago", pay tribute to Lennon.  This album is factory sealed and in very good condition other than a notch.

Cloud Nine is the eleventh studio album by English musician George Harrison. The album was recorded and released in 1987 after Harrison had taken a five-year hiatus from his career as a solo artist. The hit single "Got My Mind Set on You" from this album re-established Harrison as a critically acclaimed and commercially significant recording artist. Cloud Nine was Harrison's last solo studio album released during his lifetime.  This copy is factory sealed and in very good condition.

As a bonus, included in the Jan. 17, 2002 issue of Rolling Stone magazine that paid tribute to George who had passed away from lung cancer just weeks earlier on Nov. 29, 2001.  The magazine is complete and in very good condition.
